As a Teller at Capital One, you will play a vital role in our customer’s banking experience. You will perform a wide variety of transactions including check cashing, deposits, transfers and withdrawals. You will champion and live our sales and service culture, assisting customers with product explanations and identifying opportunities for referrals to our Relationship Bankers within the branch. Adhering to established operational policies and procedures is important. Equally important is the ability to resolve customer inquiries quickly and efficiently, delivering an exceptional customer experience every transaction, every time.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain and balance cash drawer
- Identify and refer sales opportunities to Relationship Bankers
- Adhere to operational controls, including legal, corporate, and regulatory procedures to ensure the safety and security of customer and bank assets
- Maintain supply and sale of consignment items
- Deliver outstanding customer experience by executing transactions quickly and flawlessly

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent certification or military experience
- At least six months of work experience

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual, Spanish

Capital One is currently looking for an Assistant Branch Manager. The qualified candidate must have previously worked in the banking industry with the following qualifications: Branch size criteria include $50MM combined loans and deposits; and/or 20% Demand Deposit Account; and/or $1.5MM contribution dollars; and 10 FTE compliment. The person may be asked to step in the absence of the Branch Manager. They must demonstrate strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills

Responsibilities:
- Assist in meeting or exceeding branch goals by deepening the existing relationships, developing new and profitable relationships, and minimizing customer attrition.
- Support in the delivery of quality customer service; developing an effective and efficient sales team
- Help in the overall management of the branch, including operations, sales, service, audit, and staffing with a primary focus on operations

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent Certification or military experience
- Minimum of 6 months of Supervisory experience or demonstrated Leadership experience in professional or volunteer/community roles

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience

Requires successful registration with, and issuance of a unique identification number from, the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) in compliance with the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 (S.A.F.E. Act).

As a Lead Teller at Capital One, you’ll have the ability to use your leadership skills and teller experience to perform a vital role in our branch operations. Your excellent people skills will allow you to cultivate customer relationships and initiate referrals, partnering with our Relationship Bankers to cross-sell bank products and services. You will work closely with the Branch Manager to develop and grow your team.

Responsibilities include:
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to policies and procedures and that regulatory compliance standards are met by all staff. Complete required audits and reconciliations of consignment items and general ledger tickets. Conduct audits of tellers, vaults, ATMs and currency dispensers.

- Coaching: Work with Teller team to meet customer service expectations. Demonstrate successful referral practices. Mentor team and help resolve customer issues. Give direction and feedback to others to increase their knowledge and performance.

- Training: Direct onboarding of new Tellers. Conduct training sessions for staff on new policies, products and procedures.

- Execution: Deliver on branch customer service standards. Complete complex transactions and demonstrate mastery of Teller application transactions and processing Teller operations. Own responsibility of Teller line workflow, cash management and controls and assist other Tellers with accuracy in cash handling and balancing.

- 1 year of Retail Banking experience
