The Role:

Principal Financial Analyst:

In this role you will:
- Conceptualize and lead the development and market validation of new products and services at the intersection of personal finance, payments, shopping and emerging platforms.
- Apply test and learn principles to rapidly iterate ideas
- Employ and evangelize lean development and human centered design
- Collaborate with teams throughout Capital One’s business units through research and learning, rapid prototyping, and applied pilot market tests.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5 years experience building and launching successful consumer applications on web and mobile platforms

Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated creative problem solving
- Enthusiastic knowledge and passion around emerging technologies and breakthrough consumer experiences
- MBA a plus
- Experience practicing Human centered design and lean development methodologies.
- Is familiar with mobile frameworks, responsive design, and agile development.
- Is flexible and comfortable working in cross functional capacity within a fast-paced, often ambiguous, labs environment
- Is a strong manager with excellent organization and people skills and the ability to set priorities, problem-solve, multi-task and work well in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment

CNT209 - Manager, Project Management, Manager

This Manager-level role will partner within and across FS to ensure timely project / program delivery in support of defining and executing set objectives. The environment is fast-paced, with work that is critical to the team. The role requires a well-rounded individual, with the ability to provide strategic direction to projects, peers and indirect reports. In addition, it requires the ability develop and manage project plans, revising as needed to meet changing needs and requirements; leverage problem solving skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent; identify resource needs; maintain key project documentation and manage budget and escalate risks, issues as appropriate; and effectively communicate to ensure delivery.

The Manager, Project Management requires strong influence skills to effectively drive project / program efforts. This individual should have a proven track record of strong project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage the work. In addition, very strong communication and partnership skills are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders to manage, inform and influence outcomes. In return, the role offers growth potential and the ability to learn and influence the dynamic business.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Lead the New Product Initiative and Marketing Governance forum for FS
- Provide guidance to initiative owners in the business to assist their development of standard slides and engagement of key risk stewards
- Develop and implement improvements in risk and governance processes in the FS Risk Office
- Make recommendations and provide guidance to Senior Management and process owners about risk implications as identified
- Lead and perform periodic validation of monitoring plans; implement changes as needed
- Execute risk assessments of selected business processes to ensure operational and compliance management practices are well controlled
- Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree or Military experience
- At least 5 years of Project Management experience
- At least 3 years of Relationship Management – communicating and influencing at all levels, especially with Sr Leadership

Preferred Qualifications:

- MBA / Master’s degree or Military experience
- PMP certification, Lean or Six Sigma certification
- At least 7 years of Project Management experience leading large cross functional projects and programs in IT, Banking or Financial Services
- At least 3 years of Risk Management experience
- CRCM, CAMS, CIPP or related risk management certification
