Summary:
Syndication Portfolio Management (“SPM”) oversees Capital One’s (“CONA”) responsibilities as Administrative Agent (“Agent”) to syndicate members on credit facilities shared among a number of financial institutions. Additionally, SPM supports transactions where CONA enters into a Participation Agreement with other banks and, by default, assumes a legal responsibility to deliver transaction-related information to the participants. SPM has overall responsibility for ensuring fulfillment by CONA of its agency duties in monitoring compliance by the borrower under the terms of the credit agreement and for managing coordination among CONA internal groups on initial loan closings and, subject to circumstances, in subsequent material amendments or modifications.

Surveillance Responsibilities:
- Review Credit Agreement for on-going borrower reporting requirements, financial covenants, borrowing base calculations, deal triggers and insurance requirements. Input all covenants into ACBS.
- Manage, in consultation with other Deal Team members, all post-closing surveillance and communications with bank group participant members for all new deals.
- Perform completeness check to ensure all executed documents are collected and/or delivered by all parties involved.
- Review pipeline reports for required deliverables. Send reminders to borrower and Deal Team members of approaching reporting due dates. Prepare exception reports stating reasons for non-delivery.
- Escalate findings to RM, UW, Credit Officer, Syndications, etc. regarding negative trends regarding timeliness of borrower’s submission through Agent of compliance materials.
- Get involved with the RM and/or UW in the corrective action process as related to CONA’s Agency obligations.
- Reconcile syndicate member distribution list on the secure website (e.g. Intralinks) with ACBS.
- Respond to participant inquiries promptly. Consult appropriate Deal Team members depending on "sensitivity" of specific issues, participant and/or client.
- Establish on-going communication with Deal Teams and Bank Groups regarding any changes or issues to the Loan Agreement or deal structure.
- Interact with appropriate Deal Team members to effectuate all post-closing assignments, modifications and pay-offs.
- Monitor insurance renewal due dates in accordance with terms of the credit agreement and advise RM/UW for appropriate follow-up.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Assist with creating group policies and procedures.
- Participate in road shows with group manager; assist with representing SPM in meetings with internal partners.
- Track receipt of administrative details forms from participant banks.
- Update the SPM loan documentation database upon the closing of all agented transactions.
- Work with Commercial Loan Administration to ensure that construction draw packages are delivered to participants in a timely manner.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree
- 5+ years of syndicated loan experience in a loan documentation, operations or middle-office support role.

Preferred Qualifications:
- 7+ years of syndicated loan experience.
- Team leader or supervisory experience preferred.

- Understanding of all IT Best Practices for administering Windows, Linux, Unix, VMware, and Storage devices and

components

- Develop system administration standards and procedures to maintain consistent practices

- Write comprehensive detailed documents for building, troubleshooting, installing, recovering, and supporting all storage

and backup servers and applications

- Assist Risk and Security teams with policy creations to govern the use of all storage

- Ability to cross train and develop other technical staff

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of professional experience in a related field or military experience

- 1 years experience with EMC Symmetrix, Clariion, Centera, and DELL Compellent

- 1 year experience with Symantec NetBackup or other industry leading backup software

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline

- 2 years experience with Symantec NetBackup or other industry leading backup software

- 2 years experience with EMC Symmetrix, Clariion, Centera, and DELL Compellent

- Technical experience on UNIX, Windows platform and VMware design and support as it pertains to backend storage

- Experience with data migration on the EMC array platforms using EMC migration utilities and/or other native host

migration tools

- Experience working with backup and recovery concepts and enterprise class tape libraries

- Experience with EMC Data Domain, its features and functionalities

- Experience with storage allocation, tuning, and replication on the EMC Symmetrix, Clariion, and Centera platforms

- Experience with Cisco Fabric OS environments consisting of MDS-9500 series switches

- Experience working with Windows, Linux, AIX and VMware ESX server platforms and how they interact with storage

- Solid understanding of fiber channel zoning and cabling concepts and practices

- Ability to quickly and effectively troubleshoot SAN systems, to include servers, switches and arrays

- Must be able to document systems using Visio, Word and Excel

- Continued training and study in Technology and Business Leadership

- Working knowledge of EMC Control Center and EMC Workload Analyzer to diagnose performance issues in a SAN

environment
