The Canadian Corporate Real Estate Team is looking for a dedicated, results focus individual to join our client focused team for a one year full time contract position.

The successful candidate will report directly to and support the Sr. Manager in managing internal business relationships, corporate real estate strategies, oversight of facilities and vendor management, and projects. They will interact with senior executives to assist in the development of both short and long term real estate strategies to support the business growth in Canada.

Responsibilities:

- Will form part of a CRE team, reporting directly to the Senior Manager

- Develop and maintain regular reporting, performance metrics and status reports for key initiatives

- Conduct and maintain quarterly site inspection documents

- Audit site records for compliance with federal regulations and required reporting

- Interact with third party site managers on monthly variance reports

- Work as client point of contact on small furniture reconfigurations

- Has regular contact with Third Party Management for contract service and calls for emergency repair services

- Has regular contact with Capital One employees occupying space within the facilities

- Support of existing portfolio metrics and development of new metrics to support monitoring and executive decision making

- Identify, understand, and incorporate recommendations regarding office portfolio risk (occupancy, density, cost, opportunity, etc)

Qualifications

JOB FUNCTIONS
The Director develops and provides comprehensive security management and internal investigations solutions to ensure the security and safety of Capital One Financial (COF) assets, associates, and interests in Alabang, Philippines and the greater Manila area as well as providing security consulting and risk management services for Capital One interests throughout Asia, notably in India. Performs complex security and internal investigations work and may supervise directly, or indirectly, security staff members across various security engagements. The Director leads security projects of high technical complexity and high risk profile and is viewed as an authority in his or her area of expertise. He or she is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with senior management in area of responsibility, as well as interacting with external stakeholders such as external security experts and regulators. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provides subject matter expertise to internal Corporate Security Services (CSS) clients and external clients across Capital One as needed.

- Respond to participant inquiries promptly. Consult appropriate Deal Team members depending on "sensitivity" of specific issues, participant and/or client.
- Establish on-going communication with Deal Teams and Bank Groups regarding any changes or issues to the Loan Agreement or deal structure.
- Interact with appropriate Deal Team members to effectuate all post-closing assignments, modifications and pay-offs.
- Monitor insurance renewal due dates in accordance with terms of the credit agreement and advise RM/UW for appropriate follow-up.

The Senior Director of Capital Market’s Technology is a key member of the IT organization reporting to the Vice President of Corporate Solutions. 4. Organize, manage, and facilitate design thinking sessions.

As an integral part of the Lab team, the Design Thinking Strategist will interface directly with officers throughout Capital One’s business units, with the explicit objective of helping the Lab accelerate design thinking practices through user-centered design, ethnographic research, ideation, rapid prototyping, testing, and iteration.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Masters Degree
- 3-5 years experience and proven success in product management, organizational design, and/or product design

Enhanced/Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in designing and facilitating innovation and group collaboration processes
- Experience utilizing design thinking and/or human-centered design in large organizations
- A passion for engaging with deep consumer insights and emerging technologies to meet consumer needs in compelling new ways
- Entrepreneurial or corporate innovation experience
- A high level of intellectual curiosity that is comfortable with ambiguity
- Digital industry experience (e.g., ecommerce, social media, mobile)
- Confident leading problem solving processes to tackle complex challenges with experienced professionals
- Compelling executive communication and presentation skills

The role will be based in Arlington, VA and will require travel to Capital One’s other locations such as SF and New York.
