The ACH File Processing team is responsible for receiving, validating, monitoring and documenting the processing of incoming and outgoing electronic data files using the PEP+ ACH processing system and mainframe programs. - Perform the process of checking in ACH files as they are received from external and internal customers, validating file totals using customer-submitted transmittals, and transmitting and receiving files to/from the Federal Reserve Bank, other banks and internal departments.

- Reconcile each processing “window” to PEP+ system reports.

- Follow up on suspension approvals as needed.

- Work closely with support and shift leader to ensure error-free processing.

- Adhere to the ACH rules (NACHA), SOX and management controls in addition to established balancing and settlement procedures.

- Troubleshoot system and file issues with multiple technology partners, both internally and externally.

Capital One Labs is recruiting for a Principal Associate, Process Manager who will help us accelerate and shape the launch, stability and growth of our digital Deals offerings and the supporting platforms. As part of Capital One’s Digital Lab, the Principal Associate will be responsible for capturing, documenting and analyzing newly launched initiatives into the production business processes, quantifying risks, creating controls and timely visual signals in order to provide a sustainable, quality user experience for these new digital capabilities. Preferred Qualifications
- Masters degree or higher in Statistics or similar quantitative field of study (Math, Economics, Financial Engineering, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, etc.)
- 10+ years of experience in Statistical modeling and analysis
- 5+ years of experience in analytical consulting
- 5+ years of experience in technical documentation
- 5+ years of experience leading complex analytical projects
- 5+ years of project management experience
- 5+ years of experience working with relational databases
- 5+ years of direct management experience
- 5+ years of qualitative and quantitative data analysis and reporting
- 5+ years of experience with multivariate linear and logistic regression
- 5+ years of experience with experimental design
- 2+ years of people management experience
- Proficiency with SAS, Decision Tree or R
- Proficiency in English written and verbal communication
- CFA, SQL, SAS and/or FRM certifications

Description
Capital One is pursuing a bold Digital agenda, and the Digital Customer Experience team is aggressively seeking a top notch Sr. Manager, Product Management, to help us create and deliver and world class online experience for Capital One's Card customers. This individual will be expected to obsess over the customer experience, and manage a team of product managers to oversee the development of new digital experiences or enhancement of existing ones. The individual will help develop the product strategy that meets our Enterprise and Card business agendas, engage in market research and business case development, ensure adherence to the SLDC process, and own the development, delivery and growth of our digital services.

Responsibilities:

- Develop product strategies that meet business unit objectives.
- Develop and prioritize product requirements for new products/services, as well as enhancements / change requirements for existing products/services to meet changing business, market, customer and competitor needs
- Own the development, delivery and maintenance of your products/services by leading cross-functional teams consisting of IT, operations, business analysis, customer service, marketing, and stakeholders from different business units
- Own the health of your digital products, and track performance by supporting the development of appropriate metrics and measurements
- Research new digital technologies and standards to evolve our current digital capabilities and build new ones
- Manage a team of associates to help execute strategy and achieve goals
- Coach, mentor and develop team members to grow their careers, skills and professional development
- Analyze information to make decisions and/or influence change
- Represent team or function to external stakeholders
- Maintain close working relationship with our business partners and other cross-organizational partners
- Serve as a thought leader and solution architect with cross-functional teams and leaders in development and delivery of the platform and roadmap that meets desired market requirements and business objectives

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:

- 5 years in Digital Product Management

- 2 years in people management with a track record of team development, coaching and performance management

- Bachelors Degree

Preferred Qualifications:

- Passion for customers and a demonstrated focus on customer experience

- Energy, motivation, and commitment to drive to results in a challenging, fast-paced environment. The Digital team is a start-up within an established and successful company.

- Leadership experience, including demonstrated ability to meet commitments, build consensus, negotiate resolutions, and garner respect from other teams

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work internally across all teams as well as externally with partners and vendors

- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with an attention to detail

- Strong bias toward action

- Excellent verbal and written communications skills

- Experience in Banking / Financial Services is a plus

Description
Lead, develop and motivate a small team of associates supporting the loan documentation and collateral release process across several business lines and external vendors. Maintain high levels of morale through change; Provide continuous feedback and coaching to improve and maintain high standards of quality customer experience, effectiveness and efficiency metrics. Prepare and deliver monthly performance reviews for direct reports. Manage business level metrics to high efficiency standards. Share in the accountability for a business level function team (Logistics, quality, innovation, morale).
