Role Description:

Responsible for assisting the research team in sell-side coverage of companies

within the oil and gas exploration and production sector (E&P). Contribute to the

development and maintenance of long-term financial models on companies

under coverage. Maintain industry wide macro databases for analysis of the

group. Assess a combination of company information, financial models, industry

data and regulatory filings to identify relative advantages and disadvantages

among the group.

Responsibilities:

- Maintenance of financial models through the collection of data provided by the

companies themselves and other available sources.

- Maintenance of sector wide comparative reports.

- Provide analysts with fact finding assistance, monitoring news flow and

assessing regulatory filings for companies of interest.

- Assist Institutional Sales force by finding current market information and

providing access to the team's research products.

- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:

- Candidates should be enrolled and actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Business or Finance.

The position will be full-time throughout the summer months (40 hours/week) and could potentially continue into the fall and spring on a part time basis (10-15 hours/week).
